Back At The Barnyard huh? Well you know what, I can actually tell that Nick put some genuine effort into this series. I like the show and its crafty plots and ploys. The characters were great, and the jokes were good! Shame not that many people saw it. Well who knows? Maybe this and my other entries for the show could give the show another chance for fans...

The "Racism" Freddy experiences in Fowl Play is actually known as "Speciesm", And it is that the Barnyard has a culture based on strict Veganist principles where the animals have a severe intolerance toward carnivorous animals that live off of meat, and somehow ignorant to the fact that some animals like Freddy have to live off of meat as their main source of survival. If you see the entire cast of the Barnyard, you will tell that most of the farm animals are herbivores (vegan), while Duke is an omnivore, and Freddy is a literally the only carnivore in the whole farm.
Also I don't really understand why Freddy would have to be abused, treated like a punching bag or like a situation prop in some episodes, and makes me wonder that if Freddy has sharp teeth, brown eyes, four-fingered paws, and not considered an barn animal-- while the rest of the farm animals including Duke have blue eyes, rectangular teeth, some having dark hooves, and are officially barn animals, while treating Freddy like crap because they know he's a carnivore and assume that he should be in trouble and disregarded for being one, then it's Definitely got to be Speciesm; playing as a secret message in the show.
