Well, I did the overrated, now to do the underrated!


Number 10.
“Riddle me this!”
Name: The Riddler
Franchise: Batman
The Riddler, to put it as honest as possible, is my favorite Batman villain, and whenever says that the Joker is better than him; I lose a small part of faith in the fandom. The Joker was only proven to be mentally insane, yet showing to pull out all the stops just to kill Batman. The Riddler on the other hand has actually ACKNOWLEDGED his insanity, and put Batman into lots of death traps, and he ALSO was the closest one to offing him off in TAS, and THAT is an impressive feat! And plus, he also shown to have some clever death traps in the comic version, well lets just say it involves a room fill with water and electricity on fences. Now, since I believe I could be talking about him on a future date, maybe for youtube on my KingVideoGames channel, I will shut up now and do number 9 now.

Number 9.
“Right about now, it’s time to rock, with a freak-a-ty, Buck, BUMBLE!”
Name: Buck Bumble
Franchise: Buck Bumble
A cyborg bee, with guns that make DUKE NUKEM jealous, is flying around, blowing shit up for his colony! That ALONE should sell you Buck Bumble, and it kind of should, because that’s what he all is about, and THAT is why he isn’t higher, and the reason why he is higher than number 10 is because less people know about him. Plus, If THAT doesn’t work, the theme song DEFINTLY will!

Number 8.
“You have 77 stars! Har har! That must be lucky!”
Name: Lubba
Franchise: Super Mario Galaxy
Oh boy Lubba, what do they don’t understand about you…on first glance, he is just a Patrick Star wanna-be…*cough*JOSHSCOURCHER!*hack and wheeze* But once you get past that, he is a whole new character. He was shown to be smart, managing to make the faceship that Mario has to travel around on, AND he actually manages to have a good sense of humor, all while being completely aware of his surroundings and the dangers Mario is facing, even thanking him for his services if you talk to him. I think the reason most people*HACK*JOSHY*CHOO!*give him a hard time is because they don’t talk to him. Give him a chat, he is way worth it.

Number 7.
“I’m never turning into one of them! Never!”
Name: Ashley Graham
Franchise: Resident Evil
Now I COULD say why I think she is underrated, but someone else said why she is underrated already, so I’ll redirect you to there and have him explain it to you.

Enough said. Also, I would like to bring up something. I never really had a problem with her screaming, and plus, from what I heard, she actually has some sort of plague that would turn her into a zombie. She is SCARED by this and thus more reactive with her voice because of it. She wants to be SAVED when she knows that Leon will save her. Heck, she even offers SEX to Leon at the end knowing all the trouble he went through. So in short, like Michael said it, FUCK YOU *That is if you hate her* ASHLEY’S FANTASTIC!

Number 6.
“Whoo!”
Name: Scout
Franchise: Team Fortress 2
Ok, I already talked about him here [link] and I still have some stuff to say about his haters. They say that he is the weakest class and he is the most easiest to kill. I would like to a call friend known by this: “BULLSHIT!” Scout is actually the most useful class there is in the game! His great speed makes for easy getting around and as long as he is moving, it is difficult for people to hit you! And he can also capture control points and push carts twice as fast, meaning that if a Scout is on the control point or pay load, you better get your fat-ass over there! I also like his cocky personality and how it can be shown during the game, like him flipping his melee weapon around when equipping it, even though dropping it would lose precious time. Plus, he is useful in MVM to pick up all the money before it disappears. So in short, Scout is awesome!

And here we go! Top 5 and they will be the most controversial!

Number 5:
“YEAH-HO-HO-HO!”
Name: Mario.
Franchise: Super Mario
Now I know what you’re thinking. “WHAT?!? THE FACE OF GAMING UNDERRATED?!? IMPOSSIBLE!” You’re right! It is, but SOMEHOW, the internet MANANGED TO DO THAT! Well firstly, they are saying he is too kiddy. Gee, like was like he was meant for ki-OH WAIT, HE WAS MEANT FOR KIDS! Secondly, his games are too easy. Ok, maybe so, but they were meant for KIDS, they would be easy for them, and they still have all the extras and collectables for the older crowd of games. Thirdly, too many games. OH BUGGARY, HE IS THE FACE OF NINTENDO AND GAMES, BEING MORE RECONIZED THAN MICKEY FUCKING MOUSE! HE BETTER BE IN MANY GAMES! Lastly, abusive to his brother. I dealt with this compliant before on my top 10 overrated characters list (link down at the bottom), and he WASN’T ABUSIVE! Go there if you want more about this! Overall, I love Mario to this day, I DID love Mario, and I will continue to, despite all the stormy weather you guys are giving! Rock on plumber! Your franchise is the best!

Number 4:
“Poor Tom. In a few minutes, it will all be over, and since the first time that he meant her, he’ll be happy.”
Name: Jerry
Franchise: Tom and Jerry
Ok, who the fuck out there decided to take this franchise serious? The same franchise with a cat trying to kill a mouse through elaborate traps and gizmos, or sometimes just a knife? The same franchise with a mouse cleverly outwitting a cat? Honestly, I would love to give that person a good slap across his face, so hard that this idea of Tom and Jerry being serious would fall out. I never understood the hate Jerry gotten. If anything, he and Tom both have their moments, like Tom trying to kill Jerry in “Shutter Bugged Cat” and Jerry in “High Steaks”. And plus, if you actually WATCHED more than just 5 episodes, you would probably find some where they actually on good terms with each other, like the episode “Blue Cat Blues”, which is where I got my quote from, and if you seen that episode, you would KNOW that Jerry is not a jerk, or at least not a bigger jerk than Tom. They both start their own fair amount of fights, and I honestly thought Tom started MORE than Jerry, and plus, as someone Jerry’s size, being killed is rather easy. So all in all, I actually like Jerry Mouse.

Number 3:
“Rem… I wish Light would love me… I want Light to be happy…”
Name: Misa Amane
Franchise: Death Note
Oh boy, I can hear you guys FUMING out there more than Josh saying that SMG2 was overrated, but there, I said it! Misa Amane is underrated! Now being honest, I never really watched the show or read the anime, but thankfully, I have RESEARCH to help me! First of all, the thing I would like to point out first is that her parents were GUNNED DOWN in front of her by a robber. Hmm, parents gunned down in front of their child, than the child managing to get some sort of powers to help them cleanse the worl- Well, that honestly made her more interesting in my eyes! Anyway, after her parents being gunned down, she was taken to court because of it and was called a liar despite seeing all of it unfold in front of her. So basically, this left her all alone and giving her a good reason to be depressed. And from what I heard, her being energetic and keeping on smiling is pretty much how most people who are depressed deal with it. Than comes in Light, who seemed to killed the robber, and is also a kira like her. This seemed to give her a little hope in life, so she than follows him, calling him her savior, meaning that she is now in love with him, and with her current state, that is really understandable. Light is ALL she has, so she WANTS to make him proud. But sadly, people from the viewing section can EASILY see this relationship as abusive, with Misa on the receiving end of the abuse. Yet she still tries to make him happy despite the treatment, managing to use her social status to make things easier for the task forces, and she also disobeys orders and goes out of her way to get a guy from another group to admit he is a Kira, all while still killing criminals. It really is very impressive, beautiful and tragic to read/see all the stuff she does just for Light, and to have him be abusive just makes it all the more sad. Plus, from what I heard, she was keeping Light and L apart for their own safety, and plus, the LightXL ship isn’t canon, and also, SHIPPING IS NOT A REASON TO HATE A CHARACTER! So in short, I love Misa, and will always be willing to defend her even if I never saw a single episode.

Number 2:
“LET’S FLY THOUGH WITH SONIC SPEED!”
Name:ALL the Sonic characters!
Franchise: Sonic the Hedgehog
Oh boy, THESE guys! People always hate on them just because they are either “worthless” or annoying. Now personally, I never really have a problem with ANY of them, with Chris Thorndyke giving me the most just in case you were curious. Now, every Sonic character serves a small purpose, whenever it be giving Sonic a mission, cheering him on, or directly helping him, like with them weakening Metal Sonic who was gaining power in Sonic Heroes, or working together to stop the ark from crashing into Earth in Sonic Adventure 2. They all have their own strengths and weaknesses. Sonic is the fast yet somewhat weak and arrogant one, Tails is the smart one yet somewhat slow and weak one, Knuckles is the powers yet somewhat slow and arrogant one, and it goes back to Tails who goes back to Sonic. They all have their own group of friends, and they all counteract each other in these ways, rendering none of them useless, for if 1 person was taken out, than that group would be weaker than the rest. See what I mean? Each character serves a purpose and reason; you just need to find that niche in them.

But the question is, if a ENTIRE franchise worth of characters isn’t number 1, than what is?

Number 1…
“THIS IS A FIGHT, TO THE DEATH!”
Name: Jasper Batt Jr.
Franchise: No More Heroes 2
WHY do so many people hate Jasper?!? Is it because his fight is so different than the other fights in the series, showing no points of weakness and being the only boss to match Travis’s timing? If so, than you know what? That’s what makes him so memorable! He is not just another boss with long delays for attacks. He just gets in his second form, and BOOM! Shit starts going down! You would have to realize that mere seconds of invincibility after doing a charged attack and reviving after dying by shaking the wii-motes and rotating the control sticks on the classic controller like kingdom kong will help you out in this fight! Also, I feel like this fight was meant to give the players a message that revenge won’t be that good once gained, and plus, I feel like Suda 51 realized this early on bosses work cycle and said “RIGHT! Let’s make 3 phases, first one easier than walking in a line! Second harder than Battletoads, and the third one easy too to let the player punch out all the frustration phase 2 gave him slash her! DO that and I will be in the back getting high with my pet rattlesnake!” Ok, not so sure on the last part, you get the point, I think Suda knew what he was doing. Granted, he is nowhere near my favorite bosses, Margaret Moonlight and Charles Mcdonald or however you say it, he IS nowhere near the bottom with Mimmy and Million Gunman. Plus, he is a SPOOF of a evil BATMAN! How is that not awesome?!?
